A quantum Brownian particle can be viewed as splitting the single coordinate \(x(t)\) into two coordinates \(x_+(t)\) and \(x_-(t)\) going forward and backward in time, respectively [see \textit{J. Schwinger}, J. Math. Phys. 2, 407-432 (1961; Zbl 0098.43503)]. In the classical limits \(x(t)= x_+(t)=x_-(t)\). The diffraction pattern when \(x_+(t)\) and \(x_-(t)\) are unequal and interfere is calculated. The experiments with electron beam two slit diffraction were described. The notions of phase coherence and dissipative flux are discussed.
