The starting point of the paper is the deformed oscillator algebra \({\mathcal{A}}_q\) [\textit{J.-P. Gazeau} and \textit{B. Champagne}, The Fibonacci-deformed harmonic oscillator, in Y. Saint-Aubin (ed.) et al, \textit{Algebraic methods in Physics}, Centre de Recherches Mathématiques (CRM), Montréal, Canada, New York, Springer, CRM series in Mathematical Physics, 65--79 (2001; Zbl 0974.81025)]. This algebra contains as particular cases the standard harmonic oscillator, the standard \(q\)-deformation of the harmonic oscillator [\textit{M. Arik} and \textit{D. D. Coon}, J. Math. Phys. 17, 524--526 (1976; Zbl 0941.81549)] and another realization [\textit{M. Mansour, M. Daoud}, and \textit{Y. Hassouni}, Phys. Lett. B 454, 281--289 (1999)]. The coherent states associated with the algebra \({\mathcal{A}}_q\) are eigenstates of the annihilation operator and are constructed with a deformed exponential function. Particular solutions of the power-moment problem are used. A Bargmann-Fock type space function for the analyzed \(q\)-oscillator is advanced.
