The authors give a gradient estimate for the positive solutions of the parabolic equation \(u_{t}=\Delta u-\nabla\phi\cdot\nabla u-au\log u-qu\) on some complete noncompact Riemannian manifolds. The result generalizes many previous gradient estimates from the literature.
