Let \({\mathcal F}_{Q,\text{ odd}}\) denote the subsequence of the Farey sequence of order~\(Q\) with odd denominators, and let \(N_{Q,\text{ odd}}(k)\) count the pairs of consecutive elements \(a/q\) and \(a'/q'\) of \({\mathcal F}_{Q,\text{ odd}}\) with the difference \(qa'-aq'\) taking the value~\(k\). The main result of the author is that \[ \lim_{Q\to\infty}{N_{Q,\text{ odd}}(k)\over\sharp{\mathcal F}_{Q,\text{ odd}}}={4\over k(k+1)(k+2)}. \] Similar problems for those members of \({\mathcal F}_{Q,\text{ odd}}\) lying in various intervals are also considered.
