The main result is that each flexible weight lies in the closure of the coproducts of representables under sifted flexible colimits. Its importance lies in decomposition of homotopy colimits of 2-categories into homotopy sifted colimits and finite coproducts, which is important for homotopy algebra of 2-categories. This decomposition was known for homotopy algebra of simplicial categories and is motivated by decomposition of ordinary colimits into sifted colimits of finite coproducts, which is the basic fact for ordinary universal algebra (see [\textit{J. Adámek} et al., Algebraic theories. A categorical introduction to general algebra. With a foreword by F. W. Lawvere. Cambridge Tracts in Mathematics 184. Cambridge: Cambridge University Press (2011; Zbl 1209.18001)]).
