The authors study a moving-boundary problem with a kinetic condition posed at the moving interface. The role of this condition is to describe a swelling-induced by adsorption phenomenon when flux boundary conditions are prescribed. The performed analysis ensures the existence, uniqueness, positivity and boundedness of weak solutions that also depend continuously on data and parameters. A discussion of the large time behavior is also provided.
