The results proposed by \textit{J. P. Antoine} and \textit{P. Vandergheynst} [Appl. Comput. Harmon. Anal. 7, No. 3, 262--291 (1999; Zbl 0945.42023)], concern a group-theoretic approach that generalizes that of \textit{A. Grossmann} et al. [J. Math. Phys. 26, 2473--2479 (1985; Zbl 0571.22021); Ann. Inst. Henri Poincaré, Phys. Théor. 45, 293--309 (1986; Zbl 0601.22001)] from locally compact groups to the homogeneous space given by a quotient of the Lorentz group. In particular, Antoine and Vandergheynst [loc. cit.] proposed a construction of wavelet continuous frames on the sphere and it seems that some details were missing in their approach. In this paper, the authors provide a revisited version of that construction.
