\textit{E. Khukhro} et al. [Forum Math. 26, No. 1, 73--112 (2014; Zbl 1328.17017)] have shown that if a Lie algebra \(L\) admits a finite Frobenius group of automorphisms \(FH\) with cyclic kernel \(F\) and complement \(H\) such that the fixed-point subalgebra of \(F\) is trivial and the fixed point subalgebra of \(H\) is nilpotent of class \(c\), then \(L\) is nilpotent of class bounded by a function depending only on \(|H|\) and \(c\). The author consider this type of problem but for when the conclusion involves the solvability of \(L\). He shows that if the algebra admits a finite Frobenius group of automorphisms \(FH\) with cyclic kernel \(F\) and complement \(H\) of order 2 such that the fixed point subalgebra of \(F\) is trivial and the fixed point subalgebra of \(H\) is solvable of derived length 2, then \(L\) is solvable of derived length bounded by a constant.
