The generalized Kronecker quivers are the quivers with two vertices, a sink and a source, and \(r\geq 3\) arrows (going from the source to the sink). The case \(r=2\) is the ordinary Kronecker quiver and its representations have been studied by Weierstraß and Kronecker. Let \(k\) be an fixed algebraically closed field and \(r\geq 3\). Denote by \(K_r\) the generalized Kronecker quiver with \(r\) arrows \(\gamma_1, \ldots, \gamma_r: 1\rightarrow 2\), and by \(\delta\in\Delta_+(K_r)\) a positive root of \(K_r\). We say that \(\delta\) has the equal kernels property if for all \(\alpha\in k^r \setminus\{0\}\) and every indecomposable representation \(M\) with dimension vector of \(M\) equal to \(\delta\), the \(k\)-linear map \(M^\alpha := \sum_{i=1}^r\alpha_iM(\gamma_i): M_1\to M_2\) is injective. Let us mention that by Westwick's Theorem [\textit{R. Westwick}, Linear Multilinear Algebra 20, 171--174 (1987; Zbl 0611.15002)], we know that if \(M\) has the equal kernels property, then \(\delta_2 - \delta_1 \geq r-1\) and \(\delta_1\delta_2\neq 0\) or \(\delta = (0, 1)\). In the paper under review, the author shows that \(\delta\) has the equal kernels property if and only if \(q_{K_r}(\delta) + \delta_2 - \delta_1 \geq 1\), where \(q_{K_r}: \mathbb{Z}^2\to\mathbb{Z}\), \((x,y)\mapsto x^2+y^2-rxy\) denotes the Tits quadratic form of \(K_r\).
