The author deals with \(\Sigma\)-fundamental algebras. These algebras were introduced and investigated in [\textit{L.~Oubbi}, Bull. Belg. Math. Soc. - Simon Stevin 9, No.~2, 279--292 (2002; Zbl 1042.46023)]. They are \(F\)-algebras and generalize fundamental algebras, which were defined in [\textit{E. Ansari-Piri}, Proc. Edinb. Math. Soc., II. Ser. 33, No. 1, 53--59 (1990; Zbl 0699.46027)]. Firstly, the author discusses the continuity of the spectral radius in strongly sequential \(\Sigma\)-fundamental algebras. Then, he provides conditions which ensure the continuity of linear maps \(T: A \to B\) between certain types of \(F\)-algebras.
