The aim of this paper is to show that the framework of modular sequence spaces provides a theory of nonlinear resistive infinite electrical networks which is both general and applicable. One of the main tools used in the paper is the concept of network morphism; after introducing the notion, it is shown that currents in infinite networks can be approximated by currents in suitable finite networks. A nonlinear version of the Rayleigh monotonicity law is proved and studied in detail. Parabolic and hyperbolic networks are introduced and characterized in analogy to the linear case.
