The authors prove that the eigenvalues of an \(n \times n\) complex matrix \(A\) with its characteristic polynomial having real coefficients lie in a certain elliptic region. This region is intersected with a certain strip to obtain an improved eigenvalue localization region. Bounds on semi-axes independent of eigenvalues of \(A\) are obtained. A smaller elliptic region containing nonzero eigenvalues of \(A\) is also determined.
