Non-integrability of Hénon-Heiles system and a theorem of Ziglin (Q1065433): Difference between revisions

The author gives a criterion for the non-integrability of Hamiltonian systems with two degrees of freedom. The result is applied to the Hénon-Heiles Hamiltonian \[ H=| p|^ 2+(aq^ 2_ 1+bq^ 2_ 2)+cq^ 2_ 1q_ 2+dq^ 3_ 2/3, \] a,b,c,d\(\in {\mathbb{R}}\).
