Difference operators as semigroup generators (Q617848): Difference between revisions

The paper focuses on a class of difference operators \(A\) with constant coefficients, defined on a suitable space of functions \(g\), satisfying the condition \(g(1)=B g(0)\), \(B\) being some \(m\times m\) matrix. The author proves that \(A\) is the generator of a strongly continuous semigroup, the difference semigroup, with the type depending on \(B\). Further different results regarding the exponential stability of the generated difference semigroup are proved. Two practical examples are shown.
