    Let \(V\) denote a nonzero finite-dimensional vector space over a field \(K\). An ordered pair of linear transformations \(A: V \mapsto V\) and \(A{\ast}: V \mapsto V\) is considered that satisfy the following two properties: \begin{itemize} \item[i)] There exists a basis in \(V\) with respect to which the matrix representing \(A\) is Hessenberg and the matrix representing \(A^{\ast}\) is diagonal. \item [ii)] There exists a basis in \(V\) with respect to which the matrix representing \(A\) is diagonal and the matrix representing \(A^{\ast}\) is Hessenberg. Such a pair is called \textit{thin Hessenberg pair} (or \textit{TH pair}). In this paper, a connection between TH systems and double Vandermonde matrices are investigated.\end{itemize}
