In this article the authors consider the incompressible inhomogeneous Navier-Stokes system in the whole space \({\mathbb R}^d\) when the initial density \(a_0\) is bounded and when the horizontal part \(u_0^h\) (resp. the vertical part \(u_0^d\)) of the initial velocity \(u_0=(u_0^h,u_0^h)\) satisfy the nonlinear smallness condition \[ \mu \|a_0\|_{L^{\infty}} +\|u_0^h\|_{\dot B_{p,r}^{-1+\frac{d}{p}}} \leq c_0 \;\mu e^{ C_r\mu^{-2r}\|u_0^d\|_{\dot B_{p,r}^{-1+\frac{d}{p}}}^{2r}}, \] where \(\mu>0\) is the viscosity, \(1<p<d\), \(1<r<\infty\) and \(c_0\) and \(C_r\) are two positive constants.. When additional regularity of data is assumed, uniqueness of the solution is proved.
