In [\textit{B. Mirzaii}, Math. Z. 268, No. 1--2, 329--346 (2011; Zbl 1229.20042); erratum 275, No. 1--2, 653--655 (2013; Zbl 1279.20060)] an analogue of the Bloch-Wigner sequence was established for rings with many units, with \(K_3^{\text{ind}}(R)\) replaced by some cohomology group. In this article \(K_3^{\text{ind}}(R)\) regains its place. Assume there is a homomorphism \(R \to F\), \(F\) a field, such that \(\mu(R) \to \mu(F)\) is injective (e.g. \(R\) a domain). Then a Bloch-Wigner exact sequence of Suslin, which was originally proved for \(F\), is now also proved for \(R\).
