The authors suggest an infinite-dimensional version of divergence consistent with the classical divergence from the finite-dimensional differential geometry and transfer certain ordinary properties of the divergence operator to the infinite-dimensional setting. Also, they study the relation between the divergence operator on a manifold and on a submanifold.
