The authors give a continuity method to construct canonical metrics. Although, the Kähler-Ricci flow is essential in the Analytic Minimal Model Program, an advantage of this continuity method is that it preserves a lower bound on the Ricci curvature. Thus, the application of comparison geometry techniques, such as Cheeger-Colding-Tian's compactness theory, can be made.
