This study presents a multi-domain boundary element formulation for transient dynamic problems for anisotropic plates with or without cracks. Singular quarter point elements are used to compute the dynamic stress intensity factors around the cracks. The dual reciprocity method is used to transform the domain integral into a boundary integral. The numerical results obtained are compared with results obtained from other formulations.
