On the geometry of Weil-Petersson completion of Teichmüller spaces (Q1890231): Difference between revisions

In this article the author considers the Weil-Petersson completion of the Teichmüller space of a closed Riemann surface and studies the geometry induced by the Weil-Petersson distance. It is seen that, although we do not get a Riemannian manifold, it has a similar characteristic to the Cartan-Hadamard manifolds. It is shown, for instance, that the Weil-Petersson completed Teichmüller space is a CAT(0) space.
