In his papers [Adv. Math. 116, No. 1, 82--196 (1995; Zbl 0841.28012); Pac. J. Math. 183, No. 1, 143--199 (1998; Zbl 0955.28004)] \textit{L. Olsen} suggested to study the proportionality of multifractal measures, especially Hausdorff and packing. In the present paper, the authors developed a general framework giving thus a positive answer to Olsen's suggestions. They showed that the ratio these multifractal measures is bounded whenever a Gibbs measure exists at some special state. The results are checked for a class of homogeneous Cantor sets, for which an explicit formula of the multifractal Hausdorff and packing dimensions is explicitly established.
