Cocycle rigidity of abelian partially hyperbolic actions (Q1650033): Difference between revisions

The author studies the cohomological equation for general partially hyperbolic acting elements and he builds up cocycle rigidity results for general higher-rank partially hyperbolic algebraic actions. He characterizes the obstructions to solving the (twisted) cohomological equation, constructs a smooth solution and obtains the tame Sobolev estimates for the solution. As an application, the author proves cocycle rigidity for any abelian higher-rank partially hyperbolic algebraic action.
