The paper presents a paradifferential calculus adapted to the study of nonlinear partial differential equations in Gevrey classes. Namely, in the second section of the paper the authors consider Gevrey-Sobolev spaces \(H^s_{\lambda,\sigma}\) defined by the norms \[ \biggl \|\exp \bigl(\lambda |D|^{1/ \sigma}\bigr)u \biggr\|_{H^s(\mathbb{R}^n)}. \] A characterization is given in terms of dyadic decompositions, and algebraic properties are given for \(s>n/2\) [cf. \textit{H. Chen} and \textit{L. Rodino}, Boll. Unione Mat. Ital. (7) B 10, 199-232 (1996; Zbl 0860.35153)]. In Section 3 the authors study Gevrey pseudodifferential operators with symbols satisfying the estimates \[ \bigl\|D^\alpha_x D_\eta^\beta p(\cdot, \eta)\bigr \|_{ H^s_{\lambda, \sigma}}\leq c_{\alpha\beta} |\eta |^{m-|\beta |}. \] In Sections 4,5,6 paraproducts and paradifferential operators are considered in the preceding Gevrey frame, following the lines of \textit{J.-M. Bony} [Ann. Sci. Éc. Norm. Supér. (4) 14, 209-246 (1981; Zbl 0495.35024)]. An application is given concerning Gevrey micro-regularity at an elliptic point \((x_0,\eta_0)\); namely one writes modulo smooth errors \[ F(x,u,\dots, \partial^\alpha u,\dots)_{|\alpha|\leq m}= T_{F'(u)}u \] where \(T_{F'(u)}\) is a micro-elliptic paradifferential operator at \((x_0,\eta_0)\). Assuming \(u\in H^s_{\lambda,\sigma}\) at \(x_0\), \(s>m+n/2\), one deduces \(u\in H^t_{\lambda,\sigma}\) at \((x_0,\eta_0)\) for \(s<t<2s-m-n/2\).
