The author describes a post card (found at a flea market) sent by Weierstrass. It was written in Berlin on 26th January 1879 and addressed to Professor Johann Wilhelm Oscar Röthig (1834--1903). It says about Weierstrass' contacts with his friend Carl Wilhelm Borchardt (1817--1880). Weierstrass writes about typographical problems concerning the publication of the \textit{Fundamenta} in the first volume of Jacobi's works.
