    The authors introduce a variational principle which minimizes an action formulated for configurations of vacuum Dirac seas.The action is analysed in position and momentum space and the corresponding Euler-Lagrange equations are discussed to relate to the notion of state stability. Numerical examples are constructed and discussed.
