Let \((M,F)\) be a closed \(C^{\infty}\) Finsler manifold and \(\widetilde{d}\) the asymmetric distance on \(\widetilde{M}\) defined by the lifted Finsler metric \(\widetilde{F}\). The pair \((\widetilde{M},\widetilde{d})\) is said to be \(\delta\)-hyperbolic if there exists \(\delta > 0\) such that for any geodesic triangle \(ABC\) in \(\widetilde{M}\) and any \(p \in [A,B]\) one has: \[ \widetilde{d} (p, [A,C] \cup [C,B]) \leq \delta. \] In the paper under review, using new Finsler objects, the author proves the following result: If \((M,F)\) has negative flag curvature, then the asymmetric metric space \((\widetilde{M},\widetilde{d})\) is \(\delta\)-hyperbolic.
