The authors consider the Stokes equations in the strong and weak statements. The Navier boundary conditions \(\mathbf u \cdot \mathbf n =0\), \(2\nu[\mathbb D \cdot \mathbf n]_{\tau} +\alpha \mathbf u_{\tau}=0\) on the boundary are used. Here, \(\mathbf u\) denotes the velocity, \(\nu\) the viscosity, \(\alpha>0\) the friction coefficient, \(\mathbb D\) the deformation tensor. The analyticity of the Stokes semigroup is discussed.
