Let \(M\) be a closed oriented smooth manifold of dimension \(n,\) let \(\mathcal{D}\) be the group of orientation preserving diffeomorphisms of \(M\) and let \(\mathcal{D}_{vol}\) be the subgroup of volume preserving ones. In the present work crossed homomorphisms of \(\mathcal{D}_{vol}\) of manifolds \(M\) with nontrivial first cohomology group are constructed and their applications to the volume flux groups are given. Moreover, one can see that these homomorphisms descend to crossed homomorphisms of their isotopy groups. Finally, in the two dimensional case, it is shown that their restrictions to the Torelli groups are the first Johnson homomorphisms.
