In this article, the existence of multiple solutions for the \(p(x)\)-Laplacian \(\Delta_{p(x)}u:=\mathrm{div}\left(|\nabla u|^{p(x)-2}\nabla u\right)\) with critical Sobolev growth conditions is considered. Precisely, \[ \Delta_{p(x)}u+|u|^{p(x)-2}u=f(x,u)\text{ in }\Omega\,,\qquad u=0\text{ on }\partial\Omega\,, \] where \(\Omega\subset\mathbb{R}^N\) is an open bounded domain. The authors apply the Fountain and the Dual Fountain Theorem to show the existence of infinitely many pairs of solutions. Additionally, they present a variant of the concentration-compactness principle.
