The core of the paper is the study of the duality between two apparently unrelated mathematical objects: the notion of \(p\)-modulus for a family of curves on a complete, separable metric space \(X\) and the space of non negative, finite Borel measures on \(X\) with barycenters in \(L^q(X)\) where \(p\) and \(q\) are conjugate exponents. As a corollary the authors show that the \(\text{Mod}_p\) functional is in fact a Choquet capacity.
