Let \(\mathfrak g\) be a Lie algebra over a field \(k\) and \(R\) be a commutative, unital \(k\)-algebra. Some Lie algebras \(\mathfrak g\) may be considered as Lie algebras over \(R\). In this article a connection between differentiations of a Lie algebra over \(k\) and over \(R\) are investigated. The notion of relative differentials is introduced. It is proved that the functor of relative differentials is representable and a behavior of the universal object here with respect to base changes is described. Some illustrations of these general considerations are given, in particular, for forms of perfect Lie algebras. | |||
