The paper addresses transmission conditions at nodes of a square lattice formed by one-dimensional quantum waveguides, with circular cores of a finite radius placed around the nodes. Mathematically, the Helmholtz equation is solved on this pattern, with Dirichlet boundary conditions. The transmission conditions are determined by bounded solutions supported by the corresponding cross-shaped waveguide with the circle placed around its center. All possible transmission conditions are built by means of the method of matched asymptotic expansions.
