Let \(h\) be a smooth univalent mapping of the unit disk \(\mathbb D\) onto a two-dimensional manifold \(M\). For a point \(a \in \mathbb D\) denote by \(d_h(a)\) the radius of the largest univalent disk centered at \(h(a)\) on the manifold \(M\). This means that \(h\) maps an open subset of \(\mathbb D\) containing the point \(a\) univalently onto this disk. The authors obtain a bound for the functional \(d_f(z)\) when \(\overline {g(z)}\) is added to the function \(h\), more precisely, they consider the sense-preserving harmonic mapping \(f = h + \overline g\). The main theorem gives sharp upper and lower estimations for the ratio \(d_f(z)/d_h(z)\) for \(f\) from a family of locally univalent \(Q\)-quasiconformal harmonic mappings. Moreover, the authors find a bound of the radius of convexity of \(f\), when \(f\) belongs to certain linear invariant families of locally univalent \(Q\)-quasiconformal harmonic mappings of order \(\alpha\). | |||
