The author considers an abstract setting for interface problems with coupled dynamic boundary conditions. This problem is motivated by recent results on diffusion processes on metric graphs and ramified spaces. The author proves that the parabolic problem enjoys \(L^\infty\)-contractivity, positivity and a suitable invariance property if and only if its counterpart with time independent boundary conditions also does. The author also proves the continuous dependence of the solution on the boundary conditions.
