An \((n\times\,n)\)-matrix whose rows are composed of cyclically shifted versions of a length-\(n\) list is called by the author a circulate matrix (also known as circulant matrix). In the article it is shown that the set of all non-degenerate circulate matrices of order \(n\) is a group. Especially in the case with real entries and \(n=2m\) this group is denoted \((2m-1)\)-parametrical circulate group and it defines a geometry in Klein's sense, the \((2m-1)\)-dimensional circulate geometry. For this geometry the fundamental transformations, the relative invariants, and the absolute invariants are determined. Reviewer's remark: The author deals with circulate matrices of even order, or in other words, with odd dimensional circulate geometry.
