Sei \(f(x)\) an den Stellen \(x, x+h, x+2h, \dots, x+nh\) bekannt. Das Problem lautet: \(f(x+[n+1]\cdot h)\) zu bestimmen. In der Arbeit ``Sui metodi di estrapolazione parabolica e dei quozienti'' (Atti e Memorie Padova, 48 (1932), 221-228; JFM 58.0574.04) hat \textit{G.
