The paper is a nice contribution to the answer to a question stated by Singh, Prasad and Kumar: Given a finite family of Reich contractions in a complete metric space, does there exist a unique attractor of the family? The authors define a \textit{Reich-type iterated function system} on a complete metric space \((X,\varrho)\) as a finite family of continuous Reich contractions satisfying two additional conditions. They prove the existence and uniqueness of an attractor of such a system. Additional conditions are essential -- the authors give an example of an iterated function system of continuous Reich contractions with more than one attractor. Moreover the authors study properties of the canonical projection from the code space onto the attractor.
