Given a non-archimedean local field \(F\), the goal is to classify the irreducible admissible representations of \(\mathrm{GL}_4(F)\) and \(\mathrm{GL}_6(F) \) that bear a nontrivial linear form invariant under the groups \(\mathrm{Sp}_2(F)\) and \(\mathrm{Sp}_3(F)\), respectively. A few conjectures for the case of \(\mathrm{GL}_{2n}(F)\), \(n>3\), are proposed.
