The author considers the two-dimensional stationary and nonstationary boundary value problem of fluid filtration in an anisotropic inhomogeneous porous layer. By introducing two complex planes and the complex velocity, the considered boundary value problem is rewrited in the complex form. By introducing the generalized singular Cauchy and Cauchy type integrals, the author deduces the representation of the reduced complex conjugate velocity with kernel of the integral satisfying a singular integral equation. Further, the author shows that the fluid interface evolution can be modeled by a system of singular integral equations.
