The author gives sufficient conditions for the analyticity of a function to be the characteristic determinant of a Sturm-Liouville equation with degenerate boundary conditions. The paper is a continuation of the previous work [Differ. Equ. 46, No. 10, 1427--1437 (2010); translation from Differ. Uravn. 46, No. 10, 1421--1432 (2010; Zbl 1214.34023)] of the author.
