The paper under review studies generalised Donaldson-Thomas invariants corresponding to local D6-D2-D0 configurations. These invariants are defined by applying the formalism of \textit{D. Joyce} and \textit{Y. Song} [``A theory of generalized Donaldson-Thomas invariants'', \url{arXiv:0810.5645}] to so-called ADHM sheaves on curves. Section 2 commences with a review of ADHM sheaves and some properties. The setup is roughly the following. Given a smooth projective curve \(X\) with an ample line bundle over an infinite field \(K\) of characteristic zero, let \(M_1\) and \(M_2\) be two line bundles equipped with a fixed isomorphism \(M_1\otimes M_2\cong K_X^{-1}\) and write \(\mathcal{X}=(X,M_1,M_2)\). Given this data, there exists an abelian category \(\mathcal{Q}_{\mathcal{X}}\) of \((M_1,M_2)\)-twisted coherent ADHM quiver sheaves whose objects are collections \((E,E_\infty,\Phi_1,\Phi_2,\phi,\psi)\), where \(E,E_\infty\) are coherent sheaves, \(\Phi_i: E\otimes M_i \rightarrow E\), \(\phi: E\otimes M_1\otimes M_2 \rightarrow E_\infty\), \(\psi: E_\infty \rightarrow E\) are morphisms of \(\mathcal{O}_X\)-modules satisfying a certain relation. Morphisms are pairs of maps \((\xi,\xi_\infty): (E,E_\infty)\rightarrow (E',E'_\infty)\) satisfying obvious compatibility conditions. One can then consider the full subcategory \(\mathcal{C}_{\mathcal{X}}\) consisting of objects with \(E_\infty=V\otimes \mathcal{O}_X\), where \(V\) is a finite-dimensional vector space. The numerical type of an object in \(\mathcal{C}_{\mathcal{X}}\) is the triple consisting of the rank of \(E\), the degree of \(E\) and the dimension of \(V\). The authors then define the \(\delta\)-degree (\(\delta \in \mathbb{R}\)) of an object in \(\mathcal{C}_{\mathcal{X}}\), introduce the notion of (semi-)stability using this stability parameter \(\delta\) and collect some properties of semistable ADHM sheaves. In the subsequent subsections the chamber structure, extension groups and moduli stacks are studied. Subsection 2.5 presents the definition of AHDM-invariants: The data \(\mathcal{X}\) and the stability parameter \(\delta \in \mathbb{R}\) determine a function \(A_\delta: \mathbb{Z}^3\rightarrow \mathbb{Q}\) assigning to a triple \(\gamma=(r,e,v)\) the virtual number of \(\delta\)-semistable ADHM sheaves on \(X\) of type \(\gamma\). The main result of the paper is a wallcrossing formula for \(v=2\) ADHM invariants. It is shown to agree with the wallcrossing formula of \textit{M. Kontsevich} and \textit{Y. Soibelman} [``Stability structures, motivic Donaldson-Thomas invariants and cluster transformations'', \url{arXiv:0811.2435}] in Section 4. The last section presents an application for \(X=\mathbb{P}^1\).
