Für die ausdrücke \[ \sigma (r,q)=\binom n r+\binom n{r+q}+\binom n{r+2q}+\dots \] wurde von \textit{Netto} (Lehrbuch der Kombinatorik (1901; F. d. M. 32, 217), S.19) eine trigonometrische Schreibweise angegeben. Für spezielle \(r\) und \(q\) leitet Verf. daraus für sie \(\sigma (r,q)\) bequemere Formeln her.
