The generalized Hénon-Heiles Hamiltonian is studied from the topological point of view in the Liouville completely integrable case. To this end the author uses the rich algebraic structure of the problem. He proves that the generic complex invariant manifolds can be completed into Abelian varieties each of them being a two-sheeted covering of a Jacobi variety of a genus two hyperelliptic curve S. The topological type of the generic real invariant manifolds depend only on the number of the location of the ovals on S. This leads to a description of all generic bifurcations of the Liouville tori and cylinders.
