This paper uses the Rozansky-Witten theory to define some new invariants for a link in a 3-manifold \(M\). The required data is a hyper-Kähler manifold \(X\) and, for each component of the link, a holomorphic vector bundle over \(X\). In order for these invariants to be independent of the complex structure on \(X\), it turns out to be necessary and sufficient that the bundles be hyper-holomorphic. The original Rozansky-Witten invariants are a special case. Some explicit calculations are done when either \(b_1 (M)\geq 1\) or \(\dim_{\mathbb C}X=2\), expressing these invariants in terms of the Rozansky-Witten invariant of \((M,X)\) and more standard invariants of the link and the bundles. This is similar to the case of the generalized Casson invariant and the universal LMO invariant, where these invariants are less interesting when \(b_1 (M)\geq 1\).
