Let \(X\) be a terminal complex projective threefold and \(c_2(X)\) the second Chern class of its tangent sheaf. If \(X\) is minimal, then Bogomolov-Miyaoka-Yau inequality implies that \(c_2(X)\) is pseudo-effective. What happens if \(X\) is not minimal? Here the author considers a smooth threefold \(X\) with \(-K_X\) nef; with another assumption he proves that \(c_2(X)\) is pseudo-effective. For related results, see the subsequent paper of the paper [Asian J. Math. 9, No. 1, 121--132 (2005; Zbl 1083.14009)].
