The authors study the following problem \[ -\triangle _{p}u+|u|^{p-2}u=f(x,u) \] in a bounded smooth domain \(\Omega \subset {\mathbb{R}}^{N}\) with a nonlinear boundary value condition \(|\nabla u|^{p-2}\frac{\partial u}{ \partial \nu }=g(x,u)\). Using the mountain pass lemma combined with the sub-supersolution method, the existence of a weak positive solution is obtained in the case when \(f\) and \(g\) are both sublinear and next superlinear in \(u\). Moreover, combined sub-superlinear nonlinearities are considered.
