Generally the additive property is not true for the integral defined by \(\int fd\alpha =\int^{+\infty}_{0}\alpha \{f>t\}dt,\) where \(f\in [0,+\infty]^ x\) and \(\alpha\) is a monotone set function. In this work we give conditions on the set functions \(\alpha\) and/or on the functions f in order to obtain the additivity or \(\sigma\)-additivity of the integral. We compare also the Carathéodory measurability of a function with the aditivity and modularity properties of the integral.
