The notion of concentration of generalized functions originates in the work of Bogoliubov on quantum field theory, to be precise, in his formulation of microcausality. This paper deals with the axiomatic introduction of - concentration of functionals, - reduction of these functionals and generalized functions to Borel sets. Thus it is possible to formulate all axioms of quantum field theory in the Wightman and in the Bogoliubov approach, as well. Compared with conventional axiomatic quantum field theory, the advantage is that there is no longer a need for explicit realizations of test function spaces.
