    The authors consider the differential equation \((1)\quad L_ nx(t)+q(t)f(x(g(t)))=0,\) n is even, where \(L_ 0x(t)=x(t)\), \(L_ kx(t)=a_ k(t)(L_{k-1}x(t))'\), \(k=1,...,n\), f: \({\mathbb{R}}\to {\mathbb{R}}\), \(a_ i,g,q: [t_ 0,\infty)\to {\mathbb{R}}\) \((i=1,...,n)\) are continuous, \(a_ n(t)=1\), \(a_ i(t)>0\), \(\lim_{t\to \infty}g(t)=\infty\) and q(t)\(\geq 0\) (q(t)\(\not\equiv 0\) on any ray \([t_ 1,\infty)\), \(t_ 1\geq t_ 0)\). In six theorems the authors give new sufficient conditions under which all proper solutions of (1) are oscillatory.
